Faye Daye Kahn, 67, of Tampa, FL, passed away on February 20, 2016 in Greensboro, NC. Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensboro, NC on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 1:30-2:00 pm with funeral services begin immediately afterwards. Faye Daye Kahn was born in Durham, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Charlie Alfred and Alice Marie Daye. Faye attended Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic School and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Greensboro. As a child, Faye participated in a dance ensemble, played high school sports and her sparkling personality made her the star of her neighborhood. Faye attended North Carolina A&T State University and graduated with a master's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Faye worked a number of part time jobs during her college years. She eventually was employed by Merck Pharmaceuticals as a Pharmaceutical Representative. Merck is one of the largest companies of its kind in the world. Therefore, Faye traveled extensively for the pharmaceutical industry. She married and moved to Tampa, Florida where she had one son, Zachary. She became a member of The Jewish Community Center in Tampa. She became a Bat Mitzvah and she was also a member of The Tampa Charity Garden Club. Faye is survived by her son, Zachary, Sister Sandra Daye Hughes (Larry), Brother Charles Bernard Daye (Alice), Brother Michael Gary Daye. She also leaves behind nieces, Tiffany Harris (Christopher), Allan Hughes, Briannica Tonkins, Brandy Daye, Michael Daye, Jr., Anthony Daye (Liane) and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
