Ever Mae Jett-Peoples went home to be with the Lord gracefully on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her home in High Point NC. Ever was born in Lee County, SC on April 10, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents Sadie Lou Harper and Ernest Jett. Also preceding her in death were 2 Brothers: Daniel Jett and Spurgeon Harper and 2 Sisters: Nealy Marshall, Sadie M. Harper and 1 Son: Steven Peoples. Ever was the oldest of 10 children. Her early education was in SC and she later graduated from William Penn High School in High Point, NC. Ever attended Maco Beauty College, Guilford Technical Community College and NCA&T State University. Ever was known for her golden voice from a young age. She sang and traveled with the Silver Trumpet Gospel Choir. She was also a member of the Chi-lites Social Club. She worked for many years for Advanced Home Care of Central Carolina as a CNA before retiring in 2001. She was a great mother and avid fisherman, seamstress and a phenomenal cook.

She leaves to Cherish her memory 3 daughters: Jacqueline Jeter of Washington DC, Tonya Peoples of Browns Summit NC, and Maria Daniels of High Point, NC; 5 Grandchildren: Anthony Headen (Brittany) of Durham, NC, Melody Barton (Tabarus), of Washington DC, Brandon Headen of Los Angeles CA, Lerone Peoples, of El Paso Texas, James Jeter of New York, NY and Isaiah Daniels of High Point, NC; 7 Great Grand Children: Aiden Washington, Amani Prince, Kameron Taylor, August Headen, Emilano Headen, Ellington Headen, Imazi Headen; 4 Sisters: Ruth Benton (Mack), Della Harper, Rosa Crenshaw, Doretha Harper and 1 Brother: James Harper; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home in the Chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 12 Noon.
