Ethel Mae Moore was born to Maggie Lee Oglesby and the late Denwood Thomas Tatum on January 25, 1947. Ethel attended James B. Dudley High School. She was employed at Carolina Commons for thirteen (13) years, and later went to Guilford Health Care where she worked as a custodian until her health started failing. Ethel was preceded in death by sons: James, Jerome, Stevie and Reginald Moore. Ethel leaves to cherish her memories mother: Maggie Oglesby; brother: George Tatum; grand-daughter: Sherrie Lyles; grand-son: Brandon Moore; great-grandson: Henry Lee White; daughter-in-law: Rhonda Chavis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A service honoring Mrs. Ethel Mae Moore will be held at the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home; 909 East Market Street, Greensboro, North Carolina, on Wednesday, April, 12, 2017 beginning at 12:30 pm. The interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
