Baldwin, Officiating~Reflections~Mrs. Effie Lee Tanner went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2012. She was born in Anderson County, North Carolina on November 25, 1924 to Robert and Ada Green. She joined Mt Olivet AME Zion Church on McConnell Road where she attended faithfully until her health declined. Effie Lee was a loyal friend and a dedicated Christian with great love for her family. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of Isis. Effie Lee is survived by her daughter: Hazel Green Hawkins of Greensboro; grandson; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
