Mrs. Dorothy Marie Currie Lee, 77, of 2792 Glenlocke Grove Ct NW, Atlanta, GA, transitioned peacefully at home on November 29, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00pm at Perry J Brown Funeral Home, Greensboro, NC. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC immediately following the service. The family will fellowship with friends 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will gather at Dorothy's (Marie) previous residence located at 629 Martin Street, Greensboro, NC 27406 after the services from 4:00 - 6:00pm. She was the daughter of the late Walter Currie and Autress Vaughn Currie Slade. She attended Jordan Sellars High School and worked for Fresenius Kidney Care for greater than 25 years. Evangelist Dorothy Lee was ordained at Miracle Temple Holiness Church, High Point, NC.  She was a faithful servant of God all of her adult life. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Frank Lee, Greensboro, NC and one sister, Virginia Jerelene Poole, Burlington, NC. She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Lenessa Crawford, Burlington, NC, Shatona Burnette Kersey (Bryant), Atlanta, GA, one sister, Marva Currie Matthews, Burlington, NC, one aunt, Wanda Clark, Greensboro, NC, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
