Dorothy H. Cornelius, better known to many of her friends as 'Mrs. Dot' of Troutman, North Carolina, was born on May 22, 1927 in Iredell County, North Carolina. She passed away at age 92 late Friday evening surrounded by her family on October 26, 2018 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Walter Cornelius Sr.. She is survived by her sons, Walter Cornelius Jr. and Warren Cornelius Sr.; daughters, Cassandra Gale Cornelius, Sheryl McCully and Paula Lea. Friends and family members may attend the funeral service on Wednesday, October 31st at 12:30 p.m. at East Market Street Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 1804 East Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.
