Cythnia LaVerne Watson, affectionate known as "Sukie" was born June 9th, 1956, to the late Florence and Billy Watson in Greensboro, NC.

Cindy received her formal education in Greensboro, NC. Going to Washington Elementary, Lincoln Middle School, and received her diploma from Walter Hines Page High School. After graduation, Cindy joined the workforce at a local nursing home. A few years later she went back to school at GTCC where she received her degree in Office Administration. She then went on to work at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University under Shaw food services for many years as a Purchaser/Office Admin. She then went on to work at Key Risk Management, where she later retired from. While maintaining both careers, she also was a tax professional for H&R Block and herself. She knew taxes like the back of her hand!!!

Cindy loved life to the fullest. She was the light in any room she walked into! Her smile, her personality, her sense of humor all was infectious. She never treated anyone like a stranger. She also was a raw and real person that would tell you what she thought. She was your "go to" person on any subject you could think of.

She was preceded in death by her parents Florence Louise Watson and Billy Watson.

Cindy leaves behind an aunt Lena C. Watson, an uncle James Watson Jr.' brother Billy Anthony Watson (Janice), sister Wanda Watson Morgan, sister Audrey Watson Jones, brother Adrian Lamont Watson (Drexel), sister Latasha Nicole Tisdale (Darryl), sister Ashlyn Jenice Smith (Brandon).

Along with a gang of nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews that loved her very much.

Cindy will truly be missed.
