Costella Hill-Reid was born November 24, 1936 in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late Lacy Peoples and Margaret Thompson. She was called home to glory on November 19, 2013.

Costella had a warm loving personality. Those who knew her appreciated and acknowledged the kindness she always showed. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a wonderful friend to many.

Costella was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Peoples; husbands: Elliott Hill and Milton Reid; son: Bruce Hill, and grandson: Lamarr Hill.

Costella leaves to cherish her treasured memories sons: Shawn Thompson, Darryl Hill (Latisha), Otis Hill (Pam), Howard Hill (Janet), Gary Hill (Annetta), and daughter: June Holt; twelve (12) grandchildren; six (6) great grandchildren; and a host of relatives, and beloved friends.
