Baldwin, OfficiatingClency Geraldine Coles was born February 26, 1943 in Bluefield, West Virginia to James Coles and Henrietta Mills. She was the oldest of three (3) children. She was preceded in death by husband: Kenneth Beck, Sr. and father: James Coles, Jr.Geraldine graduated from Gary High School and later married Kenneth Beck, Sr.; together they had four (4) children. She was a faithful member of Miracle Mt. Carmel Church of God where she served as a cook and usher for many years.Geraldine moved to Greensboro, North Carolina in 1986 with her youngest daughter and her other children soon followed. She worked for the Guilford County school system until her illness and later did what she did best, took care of her family.Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories, children: Henrietta (Larry) Peques, Eugenia D. Beck (Jody Summers), Kenneth (Cathy) Beck, Jr., Tressa (Lloyd) Nosakhare; her mother whom she loved dearly, Hennetta D. Coles; sister: Polly (Isaac) Graves; Ronald Coles; nine (9) grandchildren: Shantae L. Beck, Keith D. Darden, Jr., James Coles, Jr., Terrence Robinson, Clinton Robinson, Dominick McClelland, Ashley Beck, Rachelle Beck, Brittney Beck and six (6) great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.
