Claudia "Candy" Elizabeth Easterling daughter of Hollie Curry, Jr. and Elizabeth James Curry was born on February 12, 1956 in Richmond, Virginia. Candy was called to eternal rest on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at her home located at 1700 Lincoln Street. Candy was educated in the Guilford County school system and graduated from Walter Hines Page High School. She retired from the Gilbarco Company. Candy was a people person full of joy, love and laughter. She loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed outings with her friends, talking on the phone and shopping. Candy leaves to cherish many memories husband Tony E. Easterling of 33 years; son: Antonio Easterling El (Laura); daughters: Ashley Easterling Phillips (Robert); Hollie Elizabeth Easterling; sister: Anita Van Wormely (John); mother: Elizabeth Curry; grandchildren: MaKayla Easterling El, Bobby Phillips, Brihanna Phillips and Kristopher Easterling El; brother-in-law: James V. Easterling; sister-in-law: Shelyne Easterling Goins (Edward); mother-in-law: Hattie B. Easterling; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
