IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher A.
Williamson, Jr.
July 4, 2014
Christopher Alphonso Williamson, Jr was born to Christopher Alphonso Williamson, Sr. and Hallie Corns on August 27, 1954 in Guilford County NC. Chris was one of seven children and was raised in Summerfield, NC. He graduated from Northwest Guilford High School where he was a star athlete on the Football and Baseball teams. Chris worked as a beamer for Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC for over thirty years before his retirement. Chris, affectionately known as "Crip" by close friends and family was a joy to be around. He would always have a joke to share and loved to make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, John and Albert Williamson. Chris will be missed by his wife of 30 years, Georgia Courts as well as his only child Keisha Christine Bickman(Michael) of Austin, TX and stepsons, Darrell and Ricky Courts. He will be forever remembered by his sisters Ann, Marlene, and Gina Williamson all of Greensboro, NC and Brother Lucion Williamson of Summerfield, NC. Fun ties with Papaw will be remembered by his grandchildren Jordan, Jaylen and Sydney Courts and Lauren and David Bickham. He also has a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. In particular Corbin Pinkney will miss Uncle Chris who served as an important father figure in her life. Chris loved to hunt and fish and would keep an eye out for that big buck which he proudly hung in his living room. In his younger years he also enjoyed Kung Fu movies and riding his motorcycle. He loved fast cars and we have fond memories of him driving around his restored '68 Camero. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and could be counted on if you ever needed anything. Chris "Crip" touched the lives of many people with his smile and charismatic ways and will certainly be missed.
