Mr. Charles Ronal Miller passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.

A service to honor his life will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:30 am; Saint Paul Baptist Church, 1309 Larkin Street, Greensboro, NC. Visitation at 11 am.

Burial will be at Salisbury National Cemetery at 2 pm.

Charles R. Miller, the second child of the late Charles Miller and the late Essie Mae Miller was born on February 21, 1949, in Danville, Virginia and departed this earthly life on November 24, 2023.

He was educated in Danville Public Schools where he graduated from John M. Langston High School, class of 1967. He served in the US Army. He moved to New York City and worked for the US Postal Service. Charles met and married the late Helen Bradshaw. Later he married Charlene McNair, his beloved wife of 43 years. After retirement in New York, he moved to Greensboro, NC.

Charles and Charlene joined Saint Paul Baptist Church, Inc. where he served faithfully until his health declined. He was a member of the Male Chorus, Anniversary Planning Committee, Senior Travelers and the Transportation Department.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, children; Rena Miller McGraw and Douglas McNair.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Charlene of the home; son, Timothy McNair, Scotch Plains, NJ; two grandchildren that he raised, Crystal McGraw and Daytwan Miller. Brothers, Linwood Miller, Greensboro, NC; Gary (Althea) Miller, Marietta, GA; Roderick Miller, Durham, NC. Sisters, Irlean Barksdale, Danville, VA; Darlise Carter, Danville, VA, and Dr. Faynesse Miller (Robert), Saint Paul, MN. He also leaves his uncles, David Miller, North Charleston, SC; Anthony Stanfield (Mary), Greensboro, NC; and Harold Stanfield, Danville, NC; special cousin, Eileen Hopson, Richmond, VA and special friend, Hough Cunningham, Danville, VA. Also a host of other relatives and friends.
