Obituary

Cadence Harmony Williams was called home to Heaven on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Born on December 1, 2025, in Greensboro, NC, Cadence was a beautiful blessing and a precious gift from God. Though her time with us was far too short, the love, joy, and laughter she brought into our lives will remain with us forever. Her sweet presence touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Cadence was curious and adventurous, with a beautiful spirit that brought so much happiness to those around her. She found joy in the simple things and especially loved receiving snuggles and kisses from those who loved her most. She loved watching Ms. Rachel, Elmo and Sesame Street, and Hey Bear Dancing Fruit. Her laughter, smiles, and those sweet everyday moments are memories her family will always treasure.

We are eternally grateful to God for every moment we were blessed to spend with Cadence. Each day with her was a gift, and her life brought a depth of love to our family that words could never fully express. Although we may never understand why God called her home so soon, we take comfort in knowing that Cadence is now resting safely in His loving arms.

Cadence leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her loving parents: Christopher and Sasha Williams; her maternal grandparents: Gary Frederick of Fayetteville, NC, and Edna Loftin of Charlotte, NC; her paternal grandparents: Jesse and Clarice Williams of Bowden, NC; her aunt: Jessica Madden of St. Peters, Missouri; her uncles: Stan H. Bouldin (Valerie) of Trenton, NJ, MarQuis Frederick of Fayetteville, NC, and Gary Frederick of Raleigh, NC; her paternal great-grandmother: Lenora Frederick; and a host of other loving relatives and close family friends.

Cadence’s earthly journey, though brief, was filled with a love that cannot be measured by time. She changed our family forever, and we will continue to speak her name, share her stories, and carry the light of her beautiful spirit with us always.

While we may no longer be able to hold her in our arms, we will forever hold her in our hearts. We believe Cadence is now a beautiful angel in Heaven, watching over her family and surrounded by God’s eternal love.

The funeral service for Cadence will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 27, 2026 in the Cassie Coote-Brown Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home.
