On Saturday, April 9, 2016 the Lord called his beloved son, Bruce Edward Patillo home. Bruce was born to the late Jerry Patillo, Sr. and Gertrude Richardson Patillo in Greensboro, NC. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry and Garfield Patillo; and sisters Marion Westbrook, Delores Wrenn and Sandra Melvin. Bruce attended Dudley High School. Bruce worked at Maid-Rite Sandwich Company as a Supervisor before coming to Goodwill Industries, where he worked for the last 32 years as Supervisor in the Commercial Service Department. Bruce leaves behind two children, Bruce and Jerry White of Newburgh, NY; grandchildren; nieces and nephews, a dear co-worker Mae Moore; ex-wife Janet Mitchell and a host of other friends and family. A service honoring the life of Mr. Patillo will take place on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Perry J. Brown Funeral Home Chapel; 909 East Market Street Greensboro, North Carolina 27401. The visitation will begin at 10:30 am and the service will follow at 11:00 am.
