Brett Lamar Morehead passed away on July 23, 2019 at Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was 30 years old. He was born on August 12, 1988 to David Goins and Pamela Morehead. He was preceded in death by his father.

Brett graduated from the Middle College at North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, North Carolina of June 2006. He attended Guilford Technical Community College.

As a young boy, Brett was an avid baseball player. As an adult, Brett worked in the food service and moving industries and many people knew him for his love of golf.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Morehead of Greensboro, NC; their daughters Audriana and Azmeena Morehead; his daughters Laila Pruitt and Mila Morehead; his mother Pamela A. Morehead (Rick) of Greensboro, NC; his grandmother, Ora M. Morehead of Greensboro, NC; his brother, Darrian T. Morehead (Lauren) of Whitsett, NC; his uncle, Aaron J. Morehead, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; his aunt, Reba M. Wright (David) of Canton, GA; two nephews, Lawson and Gentry Morehead (Whitsett, NC); two cousins, John Wimbush (Greensboro, NC) and Ariana Wright (Canton, GA), and a host of other relatives and friends.

A service honoring his life will be held Monday July 29, 2019, at Shiloh Baptist Church; 1210 S Eugene St. Greensboro, NC. Visitation will begin at 1:30pm with service following at 2pm.
