Asmar Amin Fox was born on August 3, 1977 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Asmar transitioned on November 23, 2020. Asmar loved his family and loves researching family history. He worked at Guilford Adult Care for over 20 years. He loved to golf, go to concerts, and connect with family and friends.

Asmar loved his church, Shiloh Baptist Church, where he was on the Usher Board. He had also attended We Are One Fellowship for numerous years. He also attended Morning Prayer and Bible Study until his sickness. Asmar was ever smiling, cheerful, humble, and would help whoever, whenever, and wherever he could.

Asmar graduated from Oak Ridge Military Academy and studied Business Administration at Tuskegee University. He graduated from Virginia College in Medial Billing and Coding. He enjoyed a continuous relationship with his friends and mentors from Oak Ridge Military Academy.

Asmar is survived by his mother, Mary Diane Fox, and his father, Jerome General (Mary) Fox. He leaves behind three siblings: Rebecca Elizabeth "Liz" Fox, Jerome Rayshawn Fox, and Theresa Diana Fox. He leaves behind two uncles: Otis Lamar Green and James Vernon Green (Barbara); one sister-in-law, Absa; one nephew, Jerome Fox; three nieces, Mary Fox, Rukiyah Fox, and Sara Fox; four first cousins: Curtis Lowe (Kendra), Melissa Coalson, James Reynard Green, and James Bernard "Jimmy" Green; and a host of beloved extended cousins.

A public visitation will be held on, Wednesday December 2, 2020 from 11am to 1pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel of Perry J. Brown Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Lakeview Memorial Park.
