GREENSBORO â?? Mrs. Annie Pearl Bess was born on June 30, 1949 to the late Eddie Dejournette and Juanita Agram in Guilford County. She departed this life on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Wesley Long Hospital. Annie was a teacher at Vandalia Christian School. She was a member of Reid Memorial C.M.E. Church. Annie is survived by husband: Martin E. Bess Sr.; sons: Martin E. Bess, Jr. and Shafford Bess; and a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives, and friends. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11 at Reid Memorial C.M.E. Church and Family Visitation at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
