Obituary

Mr. Andrew S. Seabrook was born and raised in Greensboro, N.C. On August 7, 1980, he became the proud son of John and Darlene Seabrook. Andrew devoted his heart to God at an early age, never wavered and finally went home to be with Him on December 27, 2017. Andrew was a lifetime and dedicated member of Saint Paul Baptist Church. He was a member of the Usher Board and was active in Sunday School, Bible Study and the Monday Night Prayer Services. He attended Grimley High School and at the time of his departure he was an active employee of Wal-Mart Stores. Andrew's friends, colleagues and customers consistently described him with terms/phrases such as: always the biggest smile, friendly, helpful, dependable, a joy to be around, loving and such a good heart. He leaves to cherish his memories his parents John and Darlene Seabrook; brother Cleveland Jefferson (Ramona) of Charleston, SC; niece Tiffany Green of Charleston, SC; special great aunt Robbie Miller of Greensboro; eight uncles - Michael Gibson of Greensboro, Terry Keith (Gladys) of Pembroke Pines, Fl, Melvin Keith (Carla) of Atlanta, Ga, Curtis Keith of Orlando, Fl, Richard Seabrook (Helena) of Rochester MN, Pastor Charles Seabrook (Jacqueline) of Tacoma WA, Berrian Seabrook (Candice) of Lawton OK and Kenneth Seabrook (Ada) of Junction City, KS; seven aunts - Georgella Smalls (Freeman), Ruby Coaxum (Lawrence), Helen Seabrook, Rev. Christena Phoenix, and Emma Charles (Stan) all of Bronx, NY, Viola Francis (Alva) of Queen, NY, and Lucille Greene (Walter) of Colorado Springs, CO and numerous close cousins. Also left to cherish Andrew's memories are Freda Ann Walker, his best friend since childhood and two of his closest neighbors, Jeanne Suffern and Edna Jean Standback.A service honoring his life will be held at Saint Paul Baptist Church; 1309 Larkin Street, Greensboro, NC 27406 on Thursday, January 4, 2018. The visitation will begin at 11:30 am and the service will follow at 12:00 pm. The interment will take place following the service at Piedmont Memorial Park.
