Fitzgerald, Officiating~Obituary~Amos Fitzgerald, Jr., 63, expired on June 26, 2011 at High Point Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gracie Fitzgerald, his sister, Lisa and his brother, Wallace Fitzgerald. Amos leaves to mourn: his father, Amos Fitzgerald, Sr.: brother, Charles Lee Fitzgerald; daughter, Ms. Miranda M. Haith; seven grandchildren, Donovan, Gabriel, Winston, Mackenzie, Thomas, Keenan, and Paige Olivia Haith; two nieces, Angie and Gracie Fitzgerald; and one nephew, Darryl Fitzgerald; and his dearest friend, Mrs. Beverly J. Haith. Amos consumed a life filled with excitement, adventure and laughter as well as a lifetime of no regrets. As an Honored Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army, he also attended Guilford Technical Community College extending his knowledge base. For many years until his robustness began to wane, he was a loyal employee of Gilbarco from which he retired.
